Technical Innovations has manufactured a line of fiberglass domes since
1992. These domes range in size from the small robotic "RoboDome" to the largest, 15 foot diamter.
All domes are made with quality materials and careful workmanship, yet offer a great value to
astronomers looking for permanent housing for thier equipment.
Visit the Technical Innovations website www.homedome.com for complete information, or one of the photo
links below to see a sampling of a few of the more than 1,500 TI observatories in operation.
The small RoboDome is perfect for imaging projects where available space is
limited, or portability is necessary. Built around a Meade 10" LX200 as the "perfect fit", the RoboDome will
house a number of quality telescopes and automated imaging equipment.

The six foot (diameter) dome comes in two models, HD6 and PD6
previously called HD6S and HD6T). The HD6 is designed to be mounted onto an existing
structure. The dome comes with a 9" high base ring and is 3'10" high at the zenith
on the inside. The HD6 weights only about 110 pounds and is quite easy to adapt to many
types of structures. The PD6 is a "standalone" observatory with a 45" high wall and a
total height of 6'10" at the zenith inside. The small footprint and comapct size makes it
ideal for locations with limited space or building restrictions.

The ten foot (diameter) dome comes in two models, HD10 and PD10.
The HD10 is designed to be mounted onto an existing structure. This dome comes with
a 12" high base ring and is 6' high at the zenith on the inside. The HD10 weights
about 310 pounds and can be adapted to many types of structures.
The PD10 is a "standalone" observatory with a 12" high wall rings getting the observatory
to its desired height. The ten foot domes are Technical Innovations' most popular size as
they will accomodate fairly large telescopes and host up to four visitors.

The fifteen foot (diameter) dome comes in two models, HD15 and PD15.
The HD15 is designed to be mounted onto an existing structure. This dome comes with
a 12" high base ring and is 8'6" high at the zenith on the inside. The HD15 weights
about 750 pounds and can be adapted to many types of structures.
The PD15 is a "standalone" observatory with a 12" high wall rings getting the observatory
to its desired height. The fifteen foot domes are Technical Innovations' largest size and
they will accomodate all but the largest telescopes. This dome also allows larger groups of visitors.
